IMPORTANCE OF TEACHING APPROACH THROUGH INVENTION IN BASIC ART EDUCATION

Abstract

In this article, one of the basic workshop courses of the Department of plastic arts, basic art education course focuses on the importance of teaching approach through inventions. General approach to art education of the age and some models applied have been studied. The aim of this course is to introduce students to the basic principles of art education through inventions, the intersection points of the basic art education course, the contribution of the course to the teaching of the principles and elements, and the ways of reflection to the original designs. With this model, which proposes participatory approach rather than a memorial approach, the nature of the artistic designs prepared under the guidance of the trainer is among the subjects of the study. The benefits of the method are listed because it is an approach that directs students to research, explore and find creative solutions to problems, raises curiosity, creates an environment for creativity and paves the way for the invention. The contribution of basic art education to artistic creativity has been discussed in a more scientific way with this method and it has been examined how it is reflected to the teaching stage.

Bu makalede, plastik sanatlar bölümlerinin temel atölye derslerinden biri olan Temel Sanat Eğitimi dersinde buluş yoluyla öğretim yaklaşımının önemi üzerinde durulmuştur. Çağın sanat eğitimi konusundaki genel yaklaşımı ve uygulanan bazı modeller incelenmiştir. Buluş yoluyla öğretimin temel prensiplerinin Temel Sanat Eğitimi dersiyle kesişme noktaları, dersin ilke ve elemanlarının öğretiminde sağlayacağı katkılar ve özgün tasarımlara yansıma biçimleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Ezberci bir yaklaşım yerine katılımcı yaklaşımı öneren bu modelle birlikte, eğitimcinin rehberliğinde hazırlanan sanatsal tasarımların niteliği, çalışmanın konuları arasında bulunmaktadır. Öğrencileri araştırma yapmaya, sorunlara yaratıcı çözümler bulmaya ve keşfe yönlendiren, merak uyandıran, yaratıcılığa ortam hazırlayan ve buluşun önünü açan bir yaklaşım olmasından dolayı yöntemin getireceği faydalar sıralanmıştır. Temel sanat eğitiminin, sanatsal yaratıcılığa sağlayacağı katkı, bu yöntemle birlikte daha bilimsel bir biçimde ele alınmış ve öğretim aşamasına ne şekilde yansıdığı irdelenmiştir.
