Advanced manufacturing techniques applications for SMEs in the context of technology management: A research in Sincan Organized Industrial District

Abstract

Small And Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have important roles in the industry, especially with their roles in the development of the economy, in decreasing unemployment and engagement of new technology. In the countries like Turkey where SMEs have a large portion of the manufacturing market, taking advantage of technological advances efficiently for overcoming the negative effects of global competencies has a huge impact on the growth of the enterprises. In this research, the attitudes of the managers towards the technology management have been determined and the relationship between these and the advanced manufacturing techniques are analysed.

Özet

Küçük ve Orta Büyüklükteki Đsletme (KOBİ)’ler, istihdam olusturulması, teknolojik yeniliklere uyum sağlama gibi konulardaki rolleri nedeniyle ülke ekonomisinin gelismesinde önemli bir görev üstlenmektedirler. Türkiye gibi KOBĐ’lerin üretimde önemli oranda pazar sahibi olduğu ülkelerde, küresel rekabetin olumsuz etkilerinden korunması ve gelisen teknolojiden etkin bir sekilde yararlanması, bu isletmelerin büyümesinde büyük bir etki olusturmaktadır. Bu arastırmada KOBĐ’lerde yöneticilerin teknoloji yönetimi ile ilgili yargıları tespit edilerek kullanılan ileri Đmalat Teknolojileri (İİT) arasındaki iliski arastırılmıstır.
