Application on the segment reporting in the framework of the standard of "ters 8 operating segments"

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain theoretical framework of the standard, "TFRS 8 Operating Segments" which is mandatory to implement beginning from January 1, 2009, and supersedes the previous standard "TMS 14 Segment Reporting". Explanation is supported by flow charts and examples to help implementers. The study focuses, especially, on determining operating segments and the quantitative thresholds that are used in determining reportable operating segments.

Özet

Bu makalenin amacı, "TMS 14 Bölümlere Göre Raporlama" standardının yerini alan ve 1 Ocak 2009 tarihinden itibaren uygulanması zorunlu hale gelen "TFRS 8 Faaliyet Bölümleri" standardının teorik çerçevesinin açıklan-masıdır. Açıklama, uygulayıcılara yardımcı olması amacıyla akış diyagramları ve örneklerle desteklenmiştir. Çalışmada, özellikle faaliyet bölümlerinin belirlenmesi ve raporlanabilir faaliyet bölümlerinin tesbitinde kullanılan sayısal kriterler üzerinde durulmuştur.
