ACCOUNTING UNIT PERSONNEL SELECTION PROBLEM: APPLICATION OF ENTROPY-BASED MAUT METHOD

Abstract

In this study, the suitability of the personnel selected for the accounting unit at a public institution for the job position was analyzed. The evaluation criteria of the 5 potential candidate personnel to be assigned in the accounting unit were determined by meeting with the officials in the public institution where the application was made. The weights of the criteria were calculated by entropy method. The MAUT method, which is one of the multi-criteria decision making methods, was used to determine the candidate most suitable for the job position and in line with the results obtained, the ranking was made for the suitability of the personnel for the job positions. Accordingly, the best candidate for the job position was chosen.

Özet

Bu çalışmada bir kamu kurumundaki muhasebe birimi için seçilecek personelin iş pozisyonuna uygunluğu analiz edilmiştir. Muhasebe biriminde görevlendirilecek olan potansiyel 5 aday personelin değerleme kriterleri uygulama yapılan kamu kurumundaki yetkililerle görüşülerek belirlenmiştir. Kriterlerin ağırlıkları ise Entropi yöntemi ile hesaplanmıştır. İş pozisyonuna en uygun adayı tespit etmek amacıyla çok kriterli karar verme yöntemlerinden biri olan MAUT yöntemi kullanılmış ve elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda söz konusu personellerin iş pozisyonlarına uygunluklarına yönelik sıralama yapılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda iş pozisyonuna uygun en iyi adayın seçimi yapılmıştır.
