Opsoclonus myoclonus syndrome a case report

Abstract
Opsoclonus Myoclonus Syndrome is a rare disorder of ocular motility. The eyes have a state of usually continuous, involuntary, rapid, arrhytmic and conjugate movements. The syndrome is often accompanied by myoclonus, anxiety, encephalopathy, limb and truncal ataxia. It is seen with intoxications, or encephalitis, as well as with neoplasms. We present a case of a Opsoclonus Myoclonus Syndrome, which is diagnosed by typical clinical findings.
Özet
Opsoklonus Myoklonus Sendromu göz hareketlerinin nadir bir bozukluğudur. Gözlerde; devamlı, istemsiz, hızlı aritmik ve konjuge hareketler mevcuttur. Sendrom genellikle myokloni, anksiyete, ensefalopati, ekstremite ve gövde ataksisi ile birliktedir. Neoplazmlarla olduğu kadar ensefalit ve intoksikasyonlarla da beraber görülmektedir. Tipik klinik bulguları ile tanı konulan Opsoklonus Myoklonus Sendromlu bir olgu sunuyoruz.
