Our carcinoid tumor cases with different clinical presentations

Abstract
Carcinoid tumors arise from neuroendocrine cells throughout the body, but are the most common in the gastrointestinal tract, pancreas and pulmonary bronchi. Ninety percent of these tumors arise in the enterochromaffin cells within the gastrointestinal tract. The incidence of carcinoid tumors in the United States is approximately 1/15 million each year. In this article, 4 carcinoid tumor cases with different clinical presentations are presented.
Özet
Karsinoid tümörler nöroendokrin hücrelerden gelişip, en sık gastrointestinal sistem(GIS), pankreas ve pulmoner bronşlarda bulunur.Bu tümörlerin %90'ı, GIS deki enterokromafin hücrelerden köken alır. Amerika Birleşik Devletlerinde insidans, yılda 15 milyonda birdir. Bu yazımızda farklı klinik seyirli 4 karsinoid tümör olgusu sunulmuştur.
