Vaginal myoma: An unusual case report

Abstract
In this report; 32 year-old patient with vaginal mass and difficulty in sexual intercourse was presented. The mass was completely excised and pathological diagnosed as leiomyoma. Primarily vaginal leiomyoma is very rare. Simple excision is usually adequate treatment. These cases must be operated at the early period and the excision must be operated well to prevent recurrence. Pathologically malignancy must be exclude. The patient must be controlled periodically at postoperative period to recurrence.

Bu raporda; 32 yaşında, vajende ele gelen kitle ve koitusda bulunamama yakınması olan bir olgu sunulmuştur. Total olarak eksize edilen vajinal kitlenin patolojik incelenmesi sonucu myom tanısı kondu. Primer vajinal leiomyom oldukça nadir görülür. Basit eksizyon genellikle yeterli tedavi sağlar. Bu vakalar erken dönemde opere edilmeli ve nüksü önlemek için eksizyon tam olarak yapılmalıdır. Patolojik olarak malignite ekarte edilmelidir. Hasta postoperatif dönemde nüks açısından düzenli olarak kontrol edilmelidir.
