Pernicious anemia with splenomegaly

Abstract
Pernicious anemia is characterized by macrocytosis, neuropathy and mucosal atrophy of the gastrointestinal tract but marked splenomegaly is not considered to be a characteristic. We describe a patient of pernicius anemia with a marked enlargement of the spleen that resolved after vitamin B12 therapy
Özet
Pernisyöz anemi; makrositoz, nöropati ve gastrointestinal sistemin mukozal atrofisiyle kendini gösterir, ancak splenomegali nadirdir. Bu makalede pernisyöz anemi tanısı konulan ve splenomegali saptanan, B12 vitamin tedavisi sonrası dalağın normal boyutlara gerilediği bir olguyu sunuyoruz.
