Abstract

Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome is a rare congenital disorder characterised by vascular nevus formation, varicosities, bone and soft tissue hypertrophy. The condition involves one leg in about 75 percent of cases. The hypertrophy may not necessarily coincide with the area of hemangiomatous involvement. Lower extremities are involved much more frequently (95%) than upper extremities. A case of Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome characterized by hypertrophic left upper extremity was presented.
