Abstract
Reactive arthritis develops after an infection elsewhere in the body. This is a steril arthritis which is secondary to a primary infection in anywhere of the body. The infective agent doesn 't invade the joint. In this study, ASO, CRP, RF, ESR, leucocyte, uric acide were calculated in 78 patient with reactive arthritis and 40 healthy controls. 32 of the patients with reactive arthritis were female and 46 were male. 16 of the healthy group were female and 24 of them were male.In 38.46 % of the patients with reactive arthritis, ASO was found positive and In 89.74 % of the patients with reactive arthritis, CRP was found positive(p<0.01). Main ESR was found 40.73 mm/h in the patients, but in the control group, was found 8.03 mm/h (p<0.001).
