Schwannoma of the breast: Report of a case

Abstract
Schwannoma is a slow-growing tumor that frequently occurs in the extremities, the trunk and the head region.We report a case of benign schwannoma of the breast in a 76-year-old woman. The palpable mass was localized in the upper outer quadrant of the right breast. Complete excision of the mass was done and pathology revealed a schwannoma.
Özet
Schwanoma, yavaş büyüyen bir tümör olup sıklıkla eksteremite, gövde ve baş bölgesinde rastlanır. Bu olgu sunumu ile 51 yaşında sağ memesinde benign Schwanoma tespit edilen bir olgu sunuldu. Sağ meme üst kadran lokalizasyonunda palpable kitlesi mevcuttu. Kitlenin total çıkarılması takiben patolojik inceleme sonucu schwnoma ile uyumlu tespit edildi.
