Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the views of pre-service teachers on School Experience course. The research has been designed as a descriptive study. A total of 190 third grade students attending to primary school teaching departments at the faculties of education in Pamukkale and Adnan Menders Universities participated to this descriptive study. “School Experience II Course: Examining Pre-Service Teachers’ Survey” developed by Demircan (2007) was used to collect the data. The items in the survey about pre-service teachers’ views on mentors (instructor of the course), teachers in the school, their role as a teacher and the school they go for the course were located in a mixed way. According to the findings, pre-service teachers have positive views on school experience course in general. There is no significant difference in terms of the variables of gender and the socio-economical status of the school where pre-service teachers go to for the course. There is a significance difference for the item “mentors do not take us seriously” in terms of the socio-economical status of the school.
