Abstract
Orthostatic tremor referred as a disorder where in patients find it almost impossible to remain standing for more than 10 seconds. Fine tremor is seen in both legs and gait is normal. It's usually idiopatic. Only a few sympthomatic orthostatic tremor cases were reported in literature. The diagnosis is confirmed by EMG recordings that show rhytmic activation of lover limb muscles at a frequency of 14-18 Hz. It gives a good response to clonazepam. We represented this case because it was a very rare type of tremor and discussed it in the knowledge of literature.
Özet
Ortostatik tremor hastalarda on saniyeden daha uzun süre ayakta kalmalarına imkan vermeyen bir bozukluk olarak tanımlanmıştır. İnce tremor her iki bacakta görülür ve yürüyüş normaldir. Genellikle idyopatiktir. Literatürde az sayıda semptomatik ortostatik tremor olguları da bildirilmiştir. Tanı, EMG kayıtları ile 14-18 frekansta alt ekstremite kaslarının ritmik aktivasyonunun gösterilmesi ile konur. Klonazepama oldukça iyi yanıt verir. Oldukça ender görülen bir tremor tipi olması nedeniyle sunulan olgumuz literatür bilgileri ışığında tartışıldı.
