Comparison of the bacteriological flora in adenoid tissue and in middle ear fluid of children having otitis media with effusion

Abstract
The purpose of our study is to compare the bacteriological flora in the effusions of the middle ear with the bacteriological flora of the adenoid tissue in children having otitis media with effusions. 50 patient having adenoid vegetation and otitis media with effusion were operated. Sample of adenoid tissues and fluid of parasentesis were cultured in bacteriological analysis of adenoid tissues samples St.pneumonia was isolated in the range of 36%, H.influenza 16%, S.aureus 40%, B.catarrhalis 2%, S.pyogenes 6%. These ranges were for middle ear effusion. No pathogen isolated in 36% of the samples. We showed the pathogens in adenoid tissue and in fluid of parasentesis. They were the same although their notes we're different.
Özet
Çalışmamız, effüzyonlu otitis medialı çocuklarda orta kulak effüzyonu ile adenoid dokusundaki bakteriyolojik floranın karşılaştırılması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Effüzyonlu otitis media ve adenoid vejetasyon nedeniyle ameliyat edilen çocuk yaş grubu 50 hastanın parasentez sıvıları ve adenoid vejetasyonları kültüre gönderildi. Alınan numunelerin bakteriyolojik analizinde; adenoid dokusunda S. pneumoniae % 36, H. influenza (916, Staph. aureus % 40, B. catarrhalis % 2, S. pyogenes % 6 oranında bulundu. Orta kulak parasentez sıvısında ise S.pneumoniae % 44, H. influenza % 16, Staph. aureus % 31, B.catarrhalis %3, S.pyogenes % 6 oranında saptanırken, materyallerin % 36'sında üreme olmadı. Adenoid dokusu ve parasentez sıvısındaki patojenler oranlarında değişiklik olmakla birlikte benzer bulundu.
