The effect of slow releasing glipizid gits to the glisemic control, kidney functions and blood fats in the patiens with type II diabetes mellitus

Tip II diabetes mellitus'lu hastalarda yavaş salınımlı glipizid GİTS'in, kan şekeri kontrolü, böbrek fonksiyonları ve kan yağları üzerine etkisi

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a disease that can occur in any age. It effects all the systems in the body and can cause many complications by the time. In the treatment of type II Diabetes Mellitus, oral antidiabetic agents are used in high rates. By using these drugs every day new ones are being added, the blood glucose levels are kept in the available ranges. In this study, we evaluated the effects of glipizid GITS, a newly developed slow releasing oral antidiabetic agent, to HbA1c,microalbuminuria and blood lipid levels inl3 male and 17 female, totally 30 patients. We come to the conclusion that, glipizid GITS can be preferred for the advantage of single dose using and positive effects to the blood glucose regulation.

Özet

Diabetes Mellitus(DM); her yaşta başlayabilen,vücuttaki tüm sistemleri ilgilendiren zaman içerisinde pek çok komplikasyonu gelişebilen bir hastalıktır. DM Tip II tedavisinde, geniş oranda oral antidiabetik ilaçlar kullanılmaktadır. Her geçen gün yenilerinin eklendiği ilaçlarla hastaların kan şekerleri uygun sınırlarda tutulmaya çalışılmaktadır. Çalışmamızda 13'ü erkek, 17'si kadın 30 hasta üzerinde,yeni geliştirilmiş yavaş salınımlı bir oral antidiabetik olan glipizid GİTS'in (Gastrointestinal Therapeutic System) hemoglobinA1c (HbA1c), mikroalbüminüri, kan lipid düzeylerine etkisini araştırdık. Glipizid GİTS'in, tek doz kullanım avantajı ve kan şekeri regülasyonundaki olumlu etkileriyle tercih edilebilecek bir preparat olduğu sonucuna vardık.
