Basaloid squamous cell carcinoma of the larynx located in the supraglottic region

Abstract
A case of basaloid squamous cell carcinoma of the larynx located in the supraglottic region, which is rarely seen among the larynx malignancies, has been reported. Diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment and frequency of disease were compared with literature data. As in this case, basaloid squamous cell carcinoma should be considered in histopathological differential diagnosis of the laryngeal malignancies.
Özet
Larenks kanserleri arasında nadir görülen, supraglottik yerleşimli bir bazaloid skuamöz hücreli karsinoma olgusu sunuldu. Tanısı, ayırıcı tanısı, tedavisi ve görülme sıklığı literatür bilgileri ile karşılaştınldı.Bu vakada olduğu gibi, bazaloid skuamöz hücreli karsinoma larenks kanserleri arasında histopatolojik incelemede ayırıcı tanıda düşünülmelidir
