Enuresis nocturna and upper respiratory obstruction

Abstract
This study covers 35 children with enuresis nocturna and upper respiratory obstruction. The ages range between 3 and 13. Thirty cases had primary enuresis while the other five children had the secondary type of the phenomenon. Twenty-two children undenvent adenoidectomies and adenotonsillectomies were done to thirteen cases with a resultant total relief of respiratory obstruction in all instances. Twenty eight patients also had shown complete resolutions of the enuresis nocturna in the postoperative period.
Özet
Bu çalışma üst solunum yolu obstrüksiyonu ve enürezis noktürnası olan 35 çocuğu kapsamaktadır.Yaşlan 3 ila 13 arasındadır. Otuz olguda primer enürezis, diğer beş çocukta ise fenomenin sekonder tipi bulunmaktaydı. Yirmiiki çocuğa adenoidektomi, onüç olguda ise adenotonsillektomi uygulandı. Tüm olgularda solunum obstrüksiyonu tamamen düzeldi. Yirmisekiz hastada postoperatif dönemde enürezis noktürnamn tam düzeldiği gözlendi.
