A RESEARCH ON THE CONTENT ANALYSIS OF THE RECREATIONAL EVENTS OFFERED TO VISITORS OF THE HOTEL MANAGEMENTS IN BELEK, SIDE AND ALANYA REGIONS

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the recreational activities offered to visitors of the hotel managements in Belek, Side and Alanya provinces located in the city of Antalya where the capital in terms of 3S (sea, sun, sand) tourism with content analysis method. According to the results of a research done on related web sites; it has been determined that a total of 308 hotels operate in all three regions, 86 in Belek, 111 in Side and 111 in Alanya of which The data of the research was obtained by visiting the websites of 308 hotel managements located in those provinces on April and May of 2016. At the end of the research, it was determined the most of the activities offered was outdoor pool activities, Turkish bath, sauna, fitness, table tennis and indoor pool activities respectively.

Özet

Yapılan bu araştırmanın amacı, deniz, güneş, kum turizminin başkenti olan Antalya ilinin Belek, Side ve Alanya bölgelerinde bulunan, dört ve beş yıldızlı otellerin müşterilerine sunmuş oldukları rekreasyon faaliyetlerinin içerik analizi ile incelenmesi oluşturmaktadır. İlgili web sitelerinde yapılan araştırma sonucuna göre; Belek bölgesinde 86, Side bölgesinde 111 ve Alanya bölgesinde ise 111 otel olmak üzere; her üç bölgede toplam 308 otelin faaliyet gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Bu bölgelerde faaliyet gösteren 308 otelin web sitesi 2016 yılının Nisan ve Mayıs aylarında ziyaret edilerek veriler elde edilmiştir. Yapılan bu araştırmanın sonucunda rekreasyon etkinlikleri açık havuz, hamam ve sauna, oteller tarafından müşterilere yüksek düzeyde sunulurken, yelken, squash ve pilates ise düşük düzeyde sunulan etkinlikler olduğu tespit edilmiştir
