Recognition About Turkish Women to be Mukhtar

Abstract
As regards political rights, Turkish women have gained important rights with the declaration of the Republic. Firstly, the Turkish woman who won the right to be elected and elected in the 1930 municipal elections has the right to become a mukhtar afterwards. In this study, the process of gaining the right to become an elderly delegation and headman of a Turkish woman has been carried out.

Siyasi haklar konusunda Türk kadını, Cumhuriyet’in ilan edilmesi ile birlikte önemli haklar kazanmıştır. İlk olarak 1930 belediye seçimlerinde seçme ve seçilme hakkı kazanan Türk kadını, sonrasında muhtar olabilme hakkını elde etmiştir. Bu çalışmada, Türk kadınının ihtiyar heyeti ve muhtar olabilme hakkını kazanma süreci işlenmiştir.
