Cost of Barley in Erzurum Province

Abstract

There are fve products made most production in Erzurum province. These products are barley,wheat, sugar beet, sunﬂower and potato, respectively. In this study is to examine cost of one kg barley. The studydata were obtained from Horasan, Senkaya, Pasinler, Koprukoy, Yakutiye, Aziziye and Palandoken district, withface to face interviews from 94 households in 2012. As TRY da-1 Total Production Cost (TPC), Gross ProductionValue (GPV), Total Variable Cost (TVC), Gross Proft (GP) and Next Proft (NP) calculated 223.74, 201.66, 158.99,42.67 and -22.28, respectively. Also the cost of barley was determined as 0.72 TRY kg-1. In spite of, high strawprice, Formers has economic losses barley production in 2012. Farmers are to obtain revenue in the desired levelboth should increase product yield and decrease product cost. Also both product and by-products price should bereasonable level in the market

Erzurum ilinde en fazla üretimi yapılan beş ürün Arpa, Buğday, Şekerpancarı, Ayçiçeği ve Patatestir.Çalışmanın amacı 1 kg arpanın maliyetini tespit etmektir. Çalışmanın verileri 2012 yılına ait olup, Horasan,Şenkaya, Pasinler, Köprüköy, Yakutiye, Aziziye ve Palandöken ilçelerinden 94 hane halkı ile yapılan yüz yüzegörüşmelerden elde edilmiştir. İşletmelerin dekara elde ettikleri ortalama GSÜD 201.66 TL ve değişen masraﬂarı158.99 TL olup, toplam üretim maliyeti 223.74 TL, brüt kar 42.67 TL ve net kârı -22.28 TL olarak hesaplanmıştır.Ayrıca 1 kg arpanın maliyeti 0.72 TL olarak tespit edilmiştir. Arpa üretiminde 2012 yılında saman fyatlarınınprim yapmasına rağmen çiftçiler zarar etmişlerdir. Bu üründe çiftçiler istenilen seviyede kazanç elde edebilmesiiçin ürün verimini artırması ve üretim maliyetini düşürmesi gerekmektedir. Ayrıca hem ürün hem de yan ürünfyatlarının da piyasada makul boyutlarda olması gerekmektedir
