On the Colpoda species (Protista: Ciliophora: Colpodea) inhabiting in the soils in van province of turkey

Abstract
In this study, the morphological characteristics of species belonging to the genus Colpoda in the soil samples obtained from Van city centre, Edremit and campus area of Yüzüncü Yıl University were given. The total of eight Colpoda species (C. cucullus, C. inflata, C. maupasi, C. steinii, C. aspera, C. eliotti, C. tripartita, C. orientalis) were determined. Colpoda cucullus, C. inflata, C. maupasi, C. aspera, C. eliotti ve C. tripartita were first recorded for Turkish protozoon fauna.
Özet
Bu çalışmada, Van İl Merkezi, Edremit İlçesi ve Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi Yerleşkesinden toplanan toprak örneklerinde bulunan Colpoda cinsine ait türlerin morfolojik özellikleri verilmiştir. Sekiz Colpoda türü (C. cucullus, C. inflata, C. maupasi, C. steinii, C. aspera, C. eliotti, C. tripartita, C. orientalis) belirlenmiştir. Colpoda cucullus, C. inflata, C. maupasi, C. aspera, C. eliotti ve C. tripartita ilk kez bu çalışma ile Türkiye protozoon faunasına dâhil edilmiştir.
