SUMMARYTreatment of the periodontal pooket is often complicated by a proximity of a frenum or some muscle attachments. In such a case frenectomy must be carried out.Pockets that extend apical to the mucogingival line have been a difficult problem for clinicians. Gingiveotorny procedures could remove all of the attached gingiva, and the gingivectamy wound involves alveolar mucosa. For this reason, the technics for deepening the vestibule are deviced These are:1) Simple vestibular incision2) Denudation3) Periosteal retention4) Apically repositioned flap operation5) Laterally sliding flap operation6) Edlan's metod7) Free gingival graftAll of these technics were described and some interesting pictures presented in this report.
