School managers' management situation of the differences among the teachers in primary schools

Abstract
This research is conducted to determine the point of views of the teachers and school managers about the situation of the primary school managers' management of the differences among the teachers. In this research, whether school managers' and teachers' point of views differ according to their positions and whether teachers' point of views show significant differences according to their genders, marital status and seniority levels or not is examined. The sample of the research consists of 50 managers and 357 teachers working at primary schools in Osmangazi district of Bursa City. For data analysis, the arithmetic average, t test and ANOVA techniques were applied. According to the research results, the point of views of the teachers and school managers about the situation of the primary school managers' management of the differences among the teachers have significant difference with all dimensions of the research. The top dimension that managers realize while managing the differences among the teachers is the dimension of managing the diversity, on the other hand for teachers it is the dimension of benefiting the diversity of the teachers. The teachers' point of views about the managers' managing situations of diversity of teachers have significant difference according to their genders and seniority levels, but there is no significant difference with the marital status.

Bu araştırma, ilköğretim okulu yöneticilerinin öğretmenler arasındaki farklılıkları yönetme durumuna yönelik öğretmen ve yönetici görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada öğretmen ve yönetici görüşlerinin farklılaşıp- farklılaşmadığı ile öğretmen görüşlerinin cinsiyetlerine, medeni durumlarına ve kıdemlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterip-göstermediği incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini Bursa İli Osmangazi İlçesi ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan 50 okul yöneticisi ve 357 öğretmen oluşturmuştur. Veri çözümlemede aritmetik ortalama, t testi ve ANOVA teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, ilköğretim okulu yöneticilerinin öğretmenler arasındaki farklılıkları yönetme durumuna yönelik öğretmen ve yönetici görüşleri göreve göre farklılaşmaktadır. Yöneticilere göre öğretmenler arasındaki farklılıkları yönetirken en yüksek düzeyde gerçekleştirdikleri boyut “farklılıkları yönetme” boyutu iken, öğretmenlere göre “farklılıklardan yararlanma” boyutudur. Yine öğretmenlerin, yöneticilerinin öğretmenler arasındaki farklılıkları yönetme durumuna ilişkin görüşleri cinsiyet ve kıdemlerine göre farklılaşmamakla birlikte, medeni durumlarına göre farklılık göstermektedir.
