9. SINIF ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN FİZİK DERSİNE İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract
In this study, it was aimed to obtain students’ general opinions concerning physics lesson, for this reason, a questionnaire which contains twenty four questions has been prepared. Questions were about students’ general opinions concerning physics lesson, expectation on presentation of the physics lessons, and students’ general opinion about teaching methods and materials used in teaching physics. Furthermore, in last years, there is a decrease in the number of students who prefer science in the university election examinations. Thus research also aimed to analyze whether physics lessons have an effect on this decrease or nat. This questionnaires’ reliability was found as Cronbach alpha coefficient =0.82. This study was carried out during 2005-2006 spring term in secondary schools in Kırşehir 303 students participated to this study. According to these research findings, teaching methods and materials are important factors on student success as well as teachers who make the lessons lovable according to 90 percent of students. Also, in order to be successful in physics, basic mathematics knowledge is important according to %90 of students.
Özet
amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla öğrenci görüşlerini belirlemek için 24 sorudan oluşan bir anket formu geliştirilmiştir. Sorular fizik dersi hakkında öğrencilerin genel düşüncelerini, dersin işlenişindeki beklentilerini ve derste kullanılan yöntem, metot ve araç-gereçlerin yeterli olup olmadığını tespiti üzerine oluşturulmuştur. Ayrıca son zamanlarda sayısal alanı tercih eden öğrencilerin azalmasında fizik dersinin bir etkisinin olup olmadığı da incelenmek istenmiştir. Ölçme aracının güvenirlik çalışması için Cronbach Alfa katsayısına bakılmış ve bu katsayının 0.82 düzeyinde olduğu görülmüştür. Çalışmanın evrenini Kırşehir İli Merkez Ortaöğretim Okullarında öğrenim gören 9. sınıf öğrencileri oluştururken; örneklemi ise 2005-2006 öğretim yılı ikinci dönemindeki 303 kişiyi kapsamıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, öğrencilerin başarılı olmasında yöntem ve tekniklerin önemli olması kadar, öğretmeninde dersi sevdirmede önemli rol oynadığı öğrencilerin vermiş olduğu %90 olumlu cevapla görülmüştür. Ayrıca fizik dersinden başarılı olmak için temel matematik bilgisinin önemli olduğu %90’a yakın olumlu cevaptan anlaşılmaktadır.
