Özet
Çalışmada, genel biyoloji laboratuarında “Hücre ve Dokular” ünitesinin TGA tekniğiyle uygulanmasının üniversite öğrencilerinin başarıları ve bilimsel süreç becerileri üzerine etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma 2010- 2011 eğitim öğretim yılı birinci döneminde Demirci Eğitim Fakültesinde öğrenim görmekte olan 59 öğrenciyle 5 hafta süreyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen “Başarı Testi” ve “Bilimsel Süreç Beceri Testi” ön test ve son test uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 17 programıyla analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre deney ve kontrol grubu arasında uygulanan testlerde anlamlı fark bulunmuştur. Bu bağlamda öğrencilerin genel biyoloji dersinde TGA tekniğinin laboratuar ortamında uygulanmasında başarı ve bilimsel süreç becerileri üzerinde olumlu etkilerinin olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
Abstract
In this study, the implementation of the general college biology laboratory of “Cell and Tissue” unit TGA technique to investigate the effects on students' achievement and scientific process skills are aimed. Research, was conducted with 59 students in 5 weeks in 2010 - 2011 academic year, first semester at Demirci Faculty of Education. Achievement Test and the Science Process Skills Test were developed and were applied as pre-and post-test. The data obtained were analyzed by using program SPSS 17. According to the results of the analysis is applied between the experimental and control groups showed significant difference tests. In this context, it was concluded that the implementation of students' general biology class TGA technique in the laboratory have positive effects on achievement and the scientific process skills.
