The Family Life of The Police

Abstract

Police sub-culture supported by their professional education and stressful working conditions both have negative effects on their family life. Little attention, however, has been given to the family relations of the police. It is needed that how they live and what sort of challenges they need as family members. The article focuses on family life of the police, encompassing the positive, healthy family life interaction, the impact of police sub-culture and working conditions on family relations, In conclusion some recommendations are included.

Polisin mesleki eğitim sürecinde desteklenen alt kültürü ve stresli çalışma koşulları, aile yaşamlarını olumsuz etkilemektedir. Polisin aile ilişkileri aslında sınırlı düzeyde incelenmiş bir konudur. Onların nasıl yaşadıkları, aile üyeleri olarak ne yönde, nasıl bir gelişmeye gereksinim duydukları bilinmelidir. Makale, polisin aile yaşamı üzerinde odaklaşmakta, olumlu ve sağlıklı aile etkileşiminin yanı sıra polis alt kültürü ve çalışma koşullarının aile ilişiklerine etkileri ile sonuç olarak bazı önerilen kapsamaktadır.
