Problems Encountered By the Responsible Of Departments Related To the Rights of Patients and Their Suggestions for Solution

HASTA HAKLARI BİRİM SORUMLULARININ KARŞILAŞTIKLARI SORUNLAR VE ÇÖZÜM ÖNERİLERİ

Abstract

Patients’ rights applications have been star-ted in 2003, and their appliers are the hos-pitals heads of the departments in charge, who try to solve any kind of problems that the patients and their relatives face in daily procedures. The detection of the problems in relation to these problems in the responsibi-lity areas of the heads of the departments in charge and finding solutions to these prob-lems are very important. In addition, the de-termination of patients’ rights and producti-on of solutions to the problems by means of their perspectives, too, may contribute to the legal reformations that are planned on the-se issues. In this research, the problems that they face and the proposals to promote the quality of patients’ rights applications are investigated.

Özet

Türkiye’de 2003 yılında başlatılan hasta hakları uygulamalarının alandaki (hastanelerdeki) uygulayıcıları hasta hakları birim sorumlularıdır. Bu nedenle hasta ve yakınlarının karşılaştıkları her türlü sorunu çözmeye çalışan hasta hakları birim sorumlularının alanın özelliğine ilişkin günlük uygulamalarda karşılaştıkları sorunların neler olduğunun saptanması buna ilişkin çözüm önerileri geliştirmek çok önemlidir. Ayrıca, hasta hakları birim sorumlularının gözüyle hasta hakları sorunlarının saptanması ve çözüm önerileri, alana ilişkin yapılması planlanan yasal düzenlemelere de katkı sağlayabilir. Bu amaçla araştırma kapsamında hasta hakları birim sorumlularının karşılaştıkları sorunlar ve hasta hakları uygulamalarının kalitesini arttırmak için konuya ilişkin önerileri incelenmiştir.
