Effective Learning and Teaching Strategies for Ney Classes for the 9st and 10nd Grades of Fine Arts High Schools

This study has been prepared in accordance with the general objectives and basicprinciples of Turkish national education as stated in the National Education Act no. 1739.1 Thiscurriculum aims at educating students to comprehend the place of the Ney as a musicalinstrument in Turkish music culture, to acquire the skills necessary to produce soundsaccurately and in harmony with other instruments, to extend their instrumental and vocalrepertoire, and to develop a sense of responsibility in both individual and group performances.
