Abstract
OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to comparison of hormone levels in patients who have undergone Hysterectomy and bilateral salpingooopherectomy for benign reasons. STUDY DESIGN: 83 female patients aged between 31 and 53 who underwent hysterectomy for different reasons (between 1998-1999) in the Hospital of Ankara, Gynaecology and Obstetric Department were accepted for our investigation. FSH, LH, PRL, T, E2 plasma concentrations were deduced by the ELISA method preoperatively and postoperatively on the 5th (fifth), 15th (fifteenth) and 60th (sixtieth) days. RESULTS: Among the patients who had undergone TAH alone we found a statistically important difference in FSH, LH, E2 concentrations preop and postop 60th day. Among the patients who had undergone TAH+BSO preop and postop 60th day FSH, LH, E2 concentrations were also statistically important. But for PRL and T levels we did not deduce a statistically important difference. CONCLUSION: After comparing FSH, LH, PRL, T, E2 in the plasma of TAH and TAH+USO patient groups we found a statistically important difference. In TAH + BSO patient group the FSH, LH, PRL, T, E2 plasma concentrations preoperative and postoperative there was a statistically important difference. (Gynecol Obstet Reprod Med 2001; 7:124-131)

Ankara Hastanesi Kadın Hastalıkları ve Doğum Kliniğinde, 1998-1999 yıllarında çeşitli nedenlerle histerektomi endikasyonu konularak opere edilen yaşları 31 ile 53 arasında değişen 83 kadın hasta bu çalışmaya alındı. Hastalardan preoperatif, postoperatif 5. Gün, postoperatif 15 Gün ve postoperatif 60. Gün alınan kan örneklerinden serum enzyme immunoassay metodu ile FSH, LH, PRL, T, E2 düzeyleri tayin edilerek değerlendirildi. TAH yapılan hastalar ile TAH+BSO yapılan hastaların preoperatif ve postoperatif 6 0 . Gün alınan kan örneklerinde FSH, LH, E2 hormonları için istatistiki olarak önemli farklar bulduk. PRL ve T için istatistiki bir fark bulamadık. TAH+USO yapılan hastalar ile TAH+BSO yapılan hastaların preoperatif ve postoperatif 60. Gün alınan kan örneklerinde FSH, LH, E2 hormonları için istatistiki olarak önemli farklar bulduk. PRL ve T için istatistiki bir fark bulamadık. TAH, TAH+USO yapılan hasta gruplarında karşılaştırdığımız FSH, LH, PRL, T, E2'nin plazma değerlerinde istatistiki olarak önemli fark bulamadık. TAH+BSO yapılan hasta grubunda FSH, LH, PRL, T, E2'nin preoperatif ve postoperatif plazma değerlerinde istatistiki olarak önemli farklar bulduk.
