Pelvik aktinomikoz enfeksiyonunun kalmış sütür materyali ile ilgisini gösteren sık görülmeyen bir olgu sunumu

Abstract
A 44-year-old woman who underwent total abdominal hysterectomy six months earlier, presented with a history of lower abdominal pain. She had a 3x4x4 cm granuloma on the vaginal vault. Actinomycosis was shown on examination of PAP smear and by the excision of granuloma, retained suture material was obtained and it was thought that this retained suture material had caused this opportunistic infection.
Özet
Kırkdört yaşında, 6 ay önce total abdominal histerekromi ameliyatı geçiren hasta, alt karın ağrısı şikayeti ile hastaneye başvurdu. Vagende yaklaşık 3x4x4 cm'lik granüloması olan hastanın, PAP smearı aktinomikozis enfeksiyonu ile uyumlu bulundu. Granülomanın çıkarılması ile önceki ameliyatına ait sütur materyalinin orada kaldığı ve bunun da fırsatçı enfeksiyona yol açtığı gösterildi.
