Abstract
An opacified intraocular lens (IOL) of a patient, who underwent cataract surgery with phacoemulsification and implantation of hydrophilic acrylic IOL, was extracted and evaluated. The results of the evaluation demonstrated the deposition of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and serum proteins on the surface of the IOL. The aim of this study is to discuss the reasons of for deposition on the IOL surface of the a patient with no systemic disease
