Abstract

Fournier's Gangrene is a mixed aerobic and anaerobic soft tissue infection of anogenital region. Although this condition usually develops from inflammatory disease of anogenital region and urethra, it may also be a complication of surgical procedures. A Fournier's Gangrene following inguinal herniorraphy has been presented in this case report.

Özet

Foumier Gangreni, anogenital bölgenin miks aerobik ve anaerobik yumuşak doku enfeksiyonudur. Sıklıkla anal bölge ve üretranın inflammatuar hastalıklarına sekonder olarak gelişen bu tabloyla cerrahi girişimler sonrası da kaşılaşılabilir. Bu çalışmada inguinal herniorafi sonrası gözlenen bir Foumier Gangreni olgusu sunulmuştur.
