Abstract
Intussusception is a disease which observe primarily in infant and children. It is a rare entity in adults and therefore the diagnosis may be difficult. In contrast to childhood, intussusception in adults are associated with a clear pathologic process in almost all cases. Tumors are the most common cause in adult intussusception. We present a case of ileocaecal intussusception, caused by a leiomyoma with typical radiological findings in a 69 year old man.
Özet
Intussusepsiyon esas olarak infant ve çocuklarda görülen bir hastalıktır. Erişkinlerde nadiren görülür ve bu nedenle tanısı güç olabilir. Çocukluk döneminin aksine erişkinlerde genellikle belirgin bir patolojiye eşlik eder. Tümörler erişkinlerdeki intussusepsiyonun en sık görülen sebebidir. Bu çalışmada 69 yaşında bir erkek hastada tipik radyolojik bulgularla birlikte bir leiomiyomun oluşturduğu ileoçekal Intussusepsiyon sunulmuştur.
