An acute HBV-HDV coinfection with previous chronic HCV infection

Abstract

Hepatitis is one of the most prominent health problems in the world. Hepatitis C virus is an agent having the highest rate of chronicity. in our country, hepatitis B has relatively more frequency. Hepatitis D virus is not a complete virus, it is a viroid causing infection in HBsAg positive individuals. The case we try to report is a patient with acute .hepatitis B virus infection and hepatitis D coinfection superimposed on chronic hepatitis C virus infection

Özet

Hepatitler tüm dünyada gittikçe artan sağlık problemlerinin başında gelmektedir. Hepatit C virüsü kronikleşme oranı en fazla olan bir etmendir. Hepatit B virüs infeksiyonu ise ülkemizde en sık görülen hepatit etkenidir. Hepatit D virüsü tam bir virüs değildir. Sadece HBsAg pozitif bireylerde hastalık etkeni olabilen bir viroiddir. Sunmaya çalıştığımız olgu kronik hepatit C virüs infeksiyonu üzerine eklenmiş akut hepatit B infeksiyonu ve hepatit D koinfeksiyonu olgusudur.
