Evaluation of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, boron, zinc nutritional status of wheat grown in Ankara district with soil and plant samples

Abstract
In this study, fertility of the wheat grown soils in Ankara region and nutritional status of wheat plants grown on these soils were investigated. For this objective, 46 representative soil, plant and grain samples were collected. Texture, pH, $CaCO_3$, organic matter, total soluble salt, CEC, total nitrogen (N), available phosphorus (P), potassium (K), boron (B) and zinc (Zn) concentrations in soil samples and total N, P, K, B and Zn concentrations in plant and grain samples were determined. The results of the soil and plant samples were compared with the sufficiency ranges given for soils and plants. Physical conditions and nutrient content of the soils and nutritional status of the plants were evaluated. In general, the soils were light in texture, neutral pH, calcareous, non-saline and low in organic matter. Nitrogen, K and B contents of the soils were sufficient and high level. Phosphorus and Zn contents of the soils were deficient in 75% and 60% respectively. According to the plant analysis; there is any problem in respect to N, K and B nutrition. However, P and Zn deficiency are seriously widespread in the region.

Bu çalışmada, Ankara koşullarında buğday yetiştirilen alanların verimlilik durumları ile, bu topraklar üzerinde yetiştirilen buğdayın azot (N), fosfor (P), potasyum (K), bor (B) ve çinko (Zn) beslenme durumları araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla yöreyi temsil edebilecek 46 adet toprak, bitki ve tane örnekleri alınmıştır. Toprak örneklerinde pH, $CaCO_3$, organik madde, tuz, KDK, teksttir, toplam N, bitkiye-yarayışı P, K, B ve Zn, bitki örneklerinde N, P, K, B ve Zn analizleri yapılmıştır. Analiz sonuçları, sınır değerleri ile karşılaştırılarak, örnekleme yapılan topraklarının fiziksel koşulları ve besin maddesi durumları ile bitkilerin beslenme durumları ortaya konulmuştur. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, araştırma yöresi toprakları genel olarak; hafif bünyeli, nötr pH'lı, kireçli, tuzsuz, organik maddesi düşük düzeydedir. Topraklarının toplam N, elverişli K ve B düzeyleri yeterli ve fazla düzeydedir. Toprakların elverişli P kapsamları % 75' inde yetersiz, Zn kapsamları ise % 60' ında yetersizdir. Bitki analiz sonuçlarına göre N, K ve B ile beslenmeyle ilgili herhangi bir soruna rastlanılmamıştır. Bununla birlikte P ve Zn yetersizliklerinin yörede oldukça yaygın olduğu belirlenmiştir.
