Determination of yield and quality properties of some grasspea (Lathyrus sativus L.) lines under Tokat ecological conditions

Abstract

This study was carried out to determine the yield and quality of five grasspea lines selected as promosing lines for the conditions of Tokat from thirteen lines originating from İCARDA. The plot trials were conducted in two locations. Kazova-Tokat and Sankaya-Yozgat. The trials in Kazova-Tokat were carried out as both winter and summer sowings in the growing seasons of 1995/1996. 1996/1997 and 1997/1998 while the trials in Sankaya-Yozgat were conducted as winter sowing in the growing seasons of 1996/1997 and 1997/1998. The results of the study were summarized as following; 1.According to three years results from the winter sowings under the conditions of Kazova-Tokat showed that there were statistically significant differences among the lines in seed yield, thousand seed weight and crude protein rate in the dried herbage while the lines were significantly different from each other in dried herbage yield in the summer sowing under the same conditions. 2.According to two years results from the plot experiments under conditions of Sankaya-Yozgat. the lines were significantly different from each other in dried herbage yield, seed yield and crude protein rate in dried herbage. 3.In the winter and summer sowings, the mean dried herbage yields changed between 167.53-430.06 kg'da, seed yields 172.23-265.64 kg/da, crude protein contents in dried herbage 17.46-22.27 %. crude protein contents in seed 21.39-25.70 %, thousand seed weights 148.71-182.34g and harvest index 30.32-36.53 %, respectively.

Özet

Bu çalışmada. ICARDA'dan sağlanan on üç yaygın mürdümük hattından Tokat koşullarında yapılan araştırmalarda iimitvar oldukları saptanan beş yaygın mürdiimük hattı (452, 439, 455. 463 ve 38 no'lu) Tokat-Kazova'da 1995/96. 1996/97 ve 19"79i< yetiştirme döneminde kışlık ve yazlık, Yozgat-Sarıkaya'da ise 1996/97 ve 1997/98 yetiştirme döneminde kışlık olarak ekilerek verim ve kalite durumları incelenmiştir. Yıllar ortalamasına göre elde edilen sonuçlarda; 1.Tokat-Kazova'da kışlık ekimlerde üç yıllık ortalama sonuçlara göre tohum verimi, bin tane ağırlığı ve kura otta ham protein oranı bakımından hatlann istatistiki yönden önemli farklılıklar gösterdiği saptanmıştır. Üç yılık ortalama sonuçlara göre, Tokat-Kazova'da yazlık ekimlerde kuru ot verimi bakımından hatlar arasında istatistiksel olarak önemli farklılıklar ortaya çıkmıştır. 2.Yozgat-Sarıkaya'da kışlık ekimlerde iki yıllık ortalama sonuçlara göre kuru ot verimi, tohum verimi ve kuru otta ham protein oranı açısından hatlar arasındaki farkların istatistiksel açıdan önemli olduğu saptanmıştır. 3.Kışlık ve yazlık ekimlerde, ortalama olarak kuru ot verimleri 167.53-430.06 kg/da, tohum verimleri 172.23-265.64 kg/da, kuru otta ham protein oranlan % 17.46-22.27, tohumda ham protein oranlan % 21.39-25.70, bin tane ağırlıkları 148.71-182.34 g ve hasat indeksleri % 30.32-36.53 olarak tespit edilmiştir.
