Spontaneous recovery in transcortical mixed aphasia: Results of long-term follow up

Abstract
In literature, the reports about recovery of cases with transcortical mixed aphasia are extremely rare and these are confined to either rehabilitation effects or observations in early periods. In this report, the results of long-term follow up of three cases with transcortical mixed aphasia are presented and the spontaneous recovery of transcortical mixed aphasia is discussed in association with the prognostic factors.

Literatürde transkortikal mikst afazili olgularda düzelmeye ait bildiriler son derece azdır ve bunlar rehabilitasyon etkilerine veya erken dönemdeki gözlemlere sınırlıdır. Bu yazıda transkortikal mikst afazili üç olgunun uzun süreli izlem sonuçlan sunulmaktadır ve transkortikal mikst afazide spontan düzelme prognostik faktörler eşliğinde tartışılmaktadır.
