Abstract
We determined the incidence of certain types of Human Papilloma virus (HPV) DNA by "Southern Blot Hybridization" in 19 cervical premalignant and malignant specimens which were obtained by cervical biopsies or hysterectomies. We have found HPV DNA in 9 of all specimens (47.4%). In SCC group we have isolated 2 HPV type 16 (12.5%), 2 HPV type 18 (12.5%) and 1 HPV type 35 (1/16%). HPV type 18 was isolated from the specimen of AC. In CIN group HPV type 16 was isolated only in 1 case.

Servikal premalign ve malign lezyonlu vakalarda çeşitli Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) tiplerinin DNA 'sının varlığının oranını saplamak amacıyla servikal biopsi veya histerektomi materyallerinden elde edilen 19 doku spesmeni üzerinde "Southern Blot Hybridization" metodu kullanılarak örneklerde HPV DNA 'sı ve HPV tipi belirlendi. Tüm örneklerin 9'unda (%47.4) HPV DNA saptanmıştır. SCC grubunda 2 HPV tip 16 (%12.5), 2 HPV tip 18 (%12.5) ve 1 HPV tip 35 (%6) tesbit edildi. AC vakasının örneğinde HPV tip 18 saptandı. CIN grubunda sadece 1 vakada HPV tip 16 saptandı.
