Reproductıve outcome after hysteroscopıc septum excısıon ın ınfertıle women

Abstract
Aim: To investigate reproductive outcomes following hysteroscopic septum excision women with primary and secondary (recurrent pregnancy loss) infertility. Material and Method: Hysteroscopic septum excision was performed in 84 patients with a history of either primary infertility or secondary infertility with previous recurrent pregnancy loss. Post-procedure reproductive performance of these women for 1 year was analyzed. The main outcome measures were clinical pregnancy and live birth rates. Findings: Post-procedural pregnancy rates were 77% (24/31) and 23% (12/53) in 31 secondary infertile and 53 primary infertile women, respectively. Pregnancies of 14 secondary infertile women and 10 primary infertile women ended up with live birth at term. Conclusion: Hysteroscopic septum excision improves reproductive outcomes in infertile women.
Özet
Amaç: Histeroskopik septum eksizyonu yaptığımız primer ve sekonder infertil 84 hastanın reprodüktif sonuçlarının değer- lendirilmesi. Gereç ve Yöntem: Uterus septus saptanan primer infertil ve tekrarlayan düşükleri olan sekonder infertil 84 hastaya H/S septum eksizyonu uygulandı.Hastalar bir yıl izlendi. Ana sonlanım ölçütleri klinik gebelik ve canlı doğum oranları idi. Bulgular: Septum eksizyonu uygulanan 31 sekonder infertil hastanın gebelik oranı %77 (24/31) idi. Bu hastalardan 14ü canlı doğum yaptı. 53 primer infertil hastanın gebelik oranı %23 (12/53) idi ve 10u doğal süresinde canlı doğum yaptı. Sonuç: Uterin septumlu infertil kadınlarda histeroskopik septum eksizyonu reproduktif prognozu iyileştirmektedir.
