Common Gynecological Problems of Adolescents

Abstract

Some problems seen in this period causes the health of the adolescent to deteriorate and affects the quality of adolescent’s life negatively. To give adolescent about essential information self-rated health and to provide early diagnosis and treatment in a affection are healthcare professional’s important role. In this review common gynecological problems in adolescent period are covered under the following headings dysmenorrhea, premenstrual syndrome, menstrual irregularities, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, precocious puberty, gynecological cancers, genital organ anomalies, sexuality and reproductive health problems. Özet

Adölesan dönemde görülen bazı sorunlar, adölesanın kısa ve uzun dönemde sağlığının kötüye gitmesine sebep olmakta, yaşam kalitesini olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Adölesanlara sağlıklarıyla ilgili gerekli bilgiyi verme ve hastalık durumunda erken tanı ve tedavinin sağlanmasında sağlık profesyonellerine önemli rol düşmektedir. Bu derlemede adölesan dönemde sık görülen jinekolojik sorunlar dismenore, premenstrual sendrom, menstruasyon düzensizlikleri, disfonksiyonel uterus kanamaları, endometriyozis, polikistik over sendromu, puberte prekoks, jinekolojik kanserler, genital organ anomalileri, cinsellik ve üreme sağlığı sorunları başlıkları altında ele alınmıştır. Bu sorunların adölesan sağlığı üzerine etkilerine yer verilmiştir.
