Abstract
Twenty seven years old male patient was presented with decreased vision in his right eye. On slit-lamp biomicroscopy exami- nation, diffuse keratic precipitates, intumescent cataract and iris heterocromia were detected in the right eye. An examination of his left fundus revealed two disc diameters wide chorioretinal scar in the macula. Phacoemulsification surgery and intra ocular lens implantation was performed to his right eye. On postoperative examination of his right fundus also was detected a similar chorioretinal scar in the macula. The serological test for antibodies (IgG) against Toxoplasma gondii was positive in peripheric blood sample. Bilateral congenital ocular toxoplasmosis can be rarely presented with Fuchs Uveitis syndrome.
Özet
Yirmi yedi yaşında erkek olgu sağ gözde görme azalması nedeniyle kliniğimize başvurdu. Biyomikroskobik muayenede sağ gözde diffüz keratik presipitatlar, şişkin katarakt ve irisde heterokromi mevcuttu. Göz dibi muayenesinde sağ göz ay dınlanmıyor, sol gözde 2 optik disk çapında makülayı tutan koryoretinal skar vardı. Olguya sağ göze fakoemülsifikasyon yöntemiyle katarakt ameliyatı ve göziçi lens implantasyonu uygulandı. Ameliyat sonrası göz dibi muayenesinde sağ gözde de makülada koryoretinal skar saptandı. Serumda Toksoplazma IgG pozitifti. Fuchs üvetik sendromuna nadiren bilateral konjenital oküler toksoplazmozis eşlik edebilir.
