The determination of user feedback of point to point machine at computer aided machines used in furniture ındustry

Abstract

In this study, it is aim to determine the criteria of choice when purchasing point to point machinery from CNC (Computer Numeric Control) machineries which has an important use and demand in furniture industry. For this purpose, the questionnaire was applied to user a total of 50 firms of this machine. As a result, businesses who have purchased this machine have increased their productivity and capacities, their manufacturing processes and periods were shortened, their loss was decreased their costs were decreased and their production areas were expanded. Additionally it is determined that there arent adequately trained well-qualified machinery operators for these machineries in the sector. The operators available in the industry on the other hand are detected not to have been able to make the most of the machine at its full capacity and as a matter of fact these inconveniences were resulted in an increase in the costs resulted fr om the inadequacies in maintenance and repair which caused unexpected problems. As a result, loss of time and damages occurred in companies.

Özet

Bu çalışmada, mobilya endüstrisinde faaliyet gösteren firmalar için önemli bir ihtiyaç olan CNC (Computer Numeric Control) makinelerinden point to point makinesinin satın alınmasında göz önünde bulundurulması gereken tercih kriterlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bunun için, bu makineyi kullanan toplam 50 firmaya anket uygulanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, bu makineyi satın alan işletmelerin verimliliklerinde ve kapasitelerinde artış olduğu, imalat süreçlerinin ve sürelerinin kısaldığı, firelerin azaldığı, maliyetlerinin düştüğü ve fabrika alanlarının ilerleyen zaman içerisinde genişlediği ortaya çıkmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra, endüstride bu makineler hakkında yeterli bilgi ve donanıma sahip yetişmiş nitelikli makine operatörlerinin olmadığı, mevcut operatörlerin de makineyi tam kapasiteyle kullanamadıkları ve bakım-onarımdan kaynaklı aksaklıklar ve bunun sonucunda işletmelerde zaman kayıpları ve zararlar oluştuğu tespit edilmiştir.
