Anesthesia and surgery management of congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis patients (case report)

Abstract

Operation endication of congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis patients frequencys is increasing in todays world. Congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis (CIPA) is a rare sensory neuropathy, which affects patients' pain sensation and thermostatically. There are a lot of reports about this congenital disorder’s anesthetic management. We report a 7 years old case with a generalized congenital insensitivity to pain. Patient will have an artrographic procedure or if need will have an operation by orthopedics.

Özet

Konjenital ağrı yoksunluğu ve anhidrozisli (KAYA) hastaların ameliyat endikasyonu sıklığı son yıllarda giderek artmıştır. KAYA nadir görülen bir duyu nöropatisidir. Hastaların ağrı duyusunu ve ısı regülasyonunu etkiler. Bu konjenital bozukluğun anestezi planlamasıyla ilgili birçok çalışma mevcuttur. Biz de 7 yaşında bir kız hastanın ortopedi kliniği tarafından artrografi ve gerekirse ameliyat edilmesi esnasında anestezik yaklaşımımızı bildirmek istedik.
