Abstract
Gianotti-Crosti syndrome or papular acrodermatitis of the childhood period is a selflimiting exanthamatous disease. Gianotti-Crosti syndrome is characterized by papular or papulovesicular lesions which are especially localized on face, hips and limbs. The association of hepatitis B virus infection with Gianotti-Crosti syndrome has been well-documented in recent years, however other viral pathogens have been also reported as casutive agents. In this case report, we present a 17-month-old boy with Gianotti-Crosti syndrome developed secondary to Epstein Barr virus infection.
