Contribution to the Wrestling Sport of Lodges in the Establishment of the Ottoman Empire

Abstract

Wrestling, as old as human history, is one of the most pleasant struggling instances of the two living-being. Wrestling, seen olmost all the ancient civilizations, has an important place in Turkish sports and culture. At the same time, wrestling, counted as ancestor sport, has been done in everywhere from big cities to the smallest villages in every phase of our history. Wrestling, at the same time, has been known as the oldest and the most established activity of humanity. Before the invention of weapons, prehistoric men mediated wrestling for their wild evil in their strugging. After for a while, prehistoric men developed methods of struggling preparation against enemies and wild animals, on his own. Afterwards, primitive men's trying those preparations over each other and turning into a contest of the encounters with one another, happened an entertainment means. Struggle for more survival led to be known wrestling as a sport.

Özet

İnsanlık tarihi kadar eski olan güreş, iki canlının en güzel mücadele örneklerinden biridir. Eski medeniyetlerin hemen hepsin de görülen güreş, Türk spor ve kültür tarihinde zengin bir yere sahiptir. Aynı zamanda ata sporumuz sayılan güreş, tarihimizin her devresinde, büyük şehirlerden en küçük köye kadar her yerde yapıla gelmiştir. Güreş aynı zaman da insanlığın bilinen en eski ve en köklü faaliyeti de olmuştur. Silahların icadından evvel tarih öncesi adamları, mücadelesinde vahşi kötülüğüne güreşi vasıta etmiştir. Bir zaman sonra tarih öncesi adamı düşman ve vahşi hayvanlara karşı mücadeleye hazırlık usullerini kendi kendine geliştirdi. Daha sonraları ilk insanların bu hazırlıklarını birbirleri üzerinde denemeleri yekdiğeri ile karşılaşmalarının yarışma haline dönüştürülmesi bir eğlence vesilesi oldu. Daha fazla yaşama için verilen mücadele güreşin spor olmasına yol açtı.
