Abstract

Aortopulmonary window (APW) is a very rare congenital aortic septation defect in which early diagnosis followed by an im-mediate repair is crucial. Severe pulmonary hypertension may develop even in early infancy as it occurred in our current case. Herein, we report a 4-month-old male who underwent staged surgical closure of a large APW presenting with severe pulmonary hypertension and recurrent pulmonary infection.
