Education in High School from the Point of the Law on the Uniformity of Education

Abstract

In this article, the education in high schools from the point of education uniformity has been examined to determine at what grade it came true. The study has been based on a research conducted by the author who gathered the data through a questionnaire from his sample composed of 324 high school last year students in Turkey. Content of the questionnaire has composed of the sub-dimensions/ themes of Atatürk, seeularity, nationalism, social responsibility, law, art and democracy. The findings might be summarized as such:The rate of imams and Preacher School (İPS) students who like Atatürk as a leader at the first degree is 9.6%. But for the other schools this rate has been oscillating between % 77.6 and % 91.1. The IPS students have less mean point in the whole questionnaire and its' dimensions (especially from the point of Atatürk, secularity, democracy, law) as to the students of the other schools. The author concludes that, this situation might be a concrete sign that the education uniformity has not been carried out accurately nowadays.

Bu araştırmada, liselerdeki eğitimin, eğitim birliği açısından ne derece gerçekleştiği saptanmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri alanyazm taraması ve anketle toplanmıştır. Örneklem, 324 lise son sınıf öğrencisinden oluşmaktadır. Anketin içeriği, Atatürk, laiklik, milliyetçilik, toplumsal sorumluluk, hukuk, sanat ve demokrasi alt boyutlarından oluşmuştur. Bulgular: Atatürk'ü dünyada 1. derecede sevdiği lider olarak gören İmam Hatip Lisesi (İHL) öğrencilerinin oram % 9.6 'dır. Öteki okullarda ise bu oran % 77.6 ile %9l.l arasında değişmektedir. İHL öğrencileri, anketin bütününde ve boyutlarında (özellikle laiklik, Atatürk, demokrasi, hukuk boyutlarında) öteki okulların öğrencilerine göre daha düşük ortalama puana sahiptirler. Bu durum, Tevhidi Tedrisat Kanunu 'nün günümüzde işlemediğinin bir göstergesi olabilir.
