Abstract

Ectopia lentis et pupillae is a rare congenital hereditary disorder usually characterized with a combination of ectopia lentis and pupillary abnormalities, but without systemic manifestations. We hereby report a patient with bilateral ectopia lentis et pupillae presenting with spontaneous crystalline lens dislocation into the vitreous and subsequent retinal detachment in one eye, and lens subluxation with cataract in the fellow eye; and discuss treatment strategy with visual rehabilitation alternatives.

Özet

Ektopia lentis et pupilla pupil anomalileri ve ektopia lentis ile karakterize, fakat sistemik bulguların izlenmediği nadir görülen konjenital kalıtımsal bir hastalıktır. Bu yazıda sağ gözde vitreusa spontan lens dislokasyonu ve retina dekolmanı, sol gözde lens subluksasyonu ve kataraktı olan bir ektopia lentis et pupilla olgusu sunularak, tedavi stratejileri ve görsel rehabilitasyon alternatifleri tartışılmıştır.
