Abstract
Healthy nutrition is as important as nutrition for people. It is more difficult for people to haveclear and reliable agricultural food due to environmental and chemical pollution in recent years.Clear and reliable applications are combined with lifestyle to stop pollution as a result ofchanging life situation. One of these applications is “Good Agricultural Practices” which iscontrolled all of its stage from field to table with the warranty of clearness and reliably. Goodagricultural product which is produced with good agricultural practices is reached to people viaretailer firms. Migros Trade Incorporated Company is the first retailer firm in Turkey whichintroduced people with good agricultural practices. Firstly, this study comprimes concept ofgood agricultural practices, good agricultural practices in the World and in Turkey. Secondly,the study comprimes impacts of good agricultural practices of Migros on the producers, onMigros and on the consumers. This study aims to discuss impacts of good agricultural practicesof Migros on the producers, on Migros and on the consumers. The results are that Migros haverisen its sales via Good Agricultural Practices on agricultural food, chicken and meat.Descriptive research methods are used on this study.
