TÜBİTAK-4004 INTERVIEWS ON TEACHERS IN NATURE EDUCATION

TÜBİTAK-4004 DOĞA EĞİTİMİNE KATILAN ÖĞRETMENLERİN DOĞA EĞİTİMİNE İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞLERİ

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the opinions of teachers participating in nature and ecology-based environmental education activities within the scope of TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey)-4004 coded Nature and Science Schools project regarding nature and environment education. This research was conducted in order to reveal the ability of the teachers to influence the development of the eighth (nature) fields as a result of nature and environmental education and to transfer the knowledge, experience and experience gained from them to their students in science education. A semi-structured interview was conducted with eight teachers participating in nature and environmental education. Teachers' views and recommendations were passed on to the editorial without being changed. Content analysis was done in the analysis of the data. In line with the opinions of the teachers, positive results were obtained regarding TÜBİTAK(The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey)-4004 coded nature and environmental education projects.

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı TÜBİTAK (Türkiye Bilimsel ve Teknolojik Araştırma Kurumu)-4004 kodlu Doğa ve Bilim Okulları Projesi kapsamındaki doğa ve ekoloji temelli çevre eğitimi etkinliklerine katılan öğretmenlerin doğa ve çevre eğitimine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Öğretmenlerin katıldıkları doğa ve çevre eğitimi sonucunda sekizinci (doğa) zeka alanlarının gelişimine etkisi ve buradan elde edilen bilgi, deneyim ve tecrübeleri sınıflarında Fen Bilgisi eğitiminde öğrencilerine aktarabilme becerisini ortaya çıkarmak amacıyla bu araştırma yapılmıştır. Araştırmada doğa ve çevre eğitimlerine katılan sekiz öğretmenle yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme yapılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin görüş ve önerileri değiştirilmeden yazıya geçirilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Öğretmen görüşleri doğrultusunda TÜBİTAK (Türkiye Bilimsel ve Teknolojik Araştırma Kurumu)-4004 kodlu doğa ve çevre eğitimi projeleri ile ilgili olumlu sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır.
